Today, we’ve launched Mission 2030, our new five-year strategy to strengthen IBIA’s role as the global standard for sports betting integrity. It focuses on three core objectives: 1. Enhancing our Global Monitoring & Alert Platform (Global MAP); 2. Expanding collaboration across the global sports integrity ecosystem; and 3. Advancing prevention through regulation, policy, and education. To mark this next chapter, we’ve unveiled a new brand identity and website that reflect who we are today and where we’re heading. In creating our redesigned logo, we considered the stakeholders we work with and the vital role they play in protecting sports betting integrity. The result is a design of six interwoven segments representing operators, sports, regulators, law enforcement, athletes, and institutions. Together, they form the foundation of IBIA’s work. The iGaming Glossary for new starters 🎲 We throw around a lot of jargon in this industry…and sometimes my brain freezes and I just nod when I hear some term thrown around, while secretly I google the term later 👀 Save this quick glossary (and send it to your newest hire 😉): 🔹 RTP = Return to Player The % of wagered money a game pays back to players over time 🔹 GGR = Gross Gaming Revenue Total bets minus winnings paid to players. (Not your profit yet!) 🔹 Turnkey Platform A ready-made casino/sportsbook setup where you just plug in your brand and go live 🔹 White Label An operator license + platform bundled under a provider’s umbrella. Great for speed-to-market, but less flexibility 🔹 Aggregator Middleman platform connecting game providers to operators in one integration 🔹 Bonus Abuse When players exploit promotions for guaranteed wins.
