Feeling stuck in the cycle of rejections? I feel you. You send out pitch after pitch to clients, day after day, hoping to crack that one deal that will press that accelerator button on and steer your life ahead. Weeks and months pass by, and the needle does not move. A moment comes when you start feeling it personal - ‘Maybe I am not good enough’. But here’s the truth: Rejection isn’t a reflection of your worth. It’s simply about fit. A client might be looking for someone with niche-specific experience. Or, they have a very tight budget. Or, they just connect faster with another person’s approach. That in no way means you are less skilled, less experienced, or less deserving. It just means you weren’t the right match for them. Every ‘no’ is clearing space for the ‘yes’ that’s waiting down the line. So here’s what to do instead of doubting your competence - - Keep showing up. - Keep applying. - Keep learning. The right opportunity isn’t lost, it’s just in the queue. Just one ‘yes’ will remind you why you started. One project that clicks will make up for dozens that didn’t. All these unanswered applications are steps leading you closer to the clients who will actually value your work. The right opportunity isn’t ignoring you. It’s simply making its way to you. Scam alert on Fiverr Don't fall for this trap. I recently created my Fiverr account to sell content creation services. Within minutes of publishing my first gig, I received 3 messages in my Fiverr inbox saying: I'd like to purchase your gig, but I’m having trouble placing the order. Could you please share your email address? At first, I was excited, 3 buyers in the queue already, but deep down, I knew this smelled like a scam. Still, out of curiosity, I decided to see how it plays out. As soon as I shared my email, I received an official-looking email saying, Your order is complete. Please confirm. The email had a payment link. When I clicked it, I was taken to a fake “Fiverr payment page” asking me to enter my card details, CVV, and even my card balance. That’s when it hit me, this wasn’t a buyer. This was a scammer trying to steal sensitive information. To test it safely, I used an old, blocked credit card. After entering blocked credit card details, the site told me. Your payment will be credited in 2-3 working days. The entire setup looked so professional that even experienced freelancers could get trapped. Now, imagine a new seller on Fiverr, they would 100% believe this and share real card details. Always remember - Fiverr or any legitimate platform will never ask for your card details outside the platform/ to receive the money. - Never share sensitive financial information, and always receive the payments through the platform only. I was lucky because I played it safe. But many freelancers/ beginners might lose money if they fall for this. That’s why I’m sharing this story so you don’t fall for it. I’ve attached screenshots in the comments to show how convincing these scams can look. Fiverr- I trust your team is already working on removing such scamsters from the platform.
