We are pleased to announce that we have completed a £900m buy-in with the National Grid UK Pension Scheme. The transaction takes the total value of the Scheme’s de-risked liabilities with Rothesay to £4.5bn following a previous £800m buy-in (2020) and a £2.8bn buy-in (2019). Great to see the Group maintain its position as the UK’s lead investor in spinouts, with Parkwalk Advisors, our EIS fund management business, continuing to lead the way. Parkwalk Advisors’s annual Equity Investment into Spinouts report 2025, in conjunction with Beauhurst, reveals 2024 was a record year for spinout investment with £3.35bn in funding.
