Following the success of the previous year’s business improvement workshops, BB&A (in partnership with The Retail Excellence Partnership) were asked to create a second series of two-day workshops to engage and educate Joint Venture Partners within the UK’s leading optical retailer in the following: leveraging the brand to improve sales performance; leadership in tough times; building winning partnerships; deepening understanding of changes in legislation; and professional development.

The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC)
BB&A was awarded the IABC EMErald Award of Excellence for its work in helping Anglo American, a global mining corporation, to engage its front line employee workforce in the important issue of transportation safety. Early adopters of the programme in Brazil reported a 50% reduction in transportation-related incidents.

BB&A was awarded the IoIC Global Class Winner Award for helping Anglo American, a global mining corporation, in engaging its leadership community in the important issue of transportation safety.
The judges summarised the programme as "A well planned and effective strategy that was focused on changing behaviours and getting people to take ownership of their own actions. the leader-led workshop approach was outstanding, getting people to learn from real-life experiences".
