The Restaurant Group (TRG) is aiming to open up to six pubs per year from 2026 for its Brunning & Price business and has a “strong” pipeline of sites for Wagamama for which it is exploring further international opportunities. Short break operator Warner Hotels is set to make a £15.5m investment in Thoresby Hall Hotel, Nottinghamshire. Warner says Thoresby Hall will become a “flagship” Reserve, by Warner Hotel property. The investment will include a “wellness retreat” within the restored historic estate, alongside 221 refurbished rooms, newly-added accommodation and 51 upgraded patios.
