That being said I loved studying Politics. Its the study of how power moves between people and states - its a fascinating subject, and not necessarily what you think it might be. Through my studies I learned to write well, and critically analyse situations. I've found the skills I learned have helped me in every aspect of my life and career. The ability to critically analyse, craft and argument and source information is so important in business.

    Whilst at University I founded my first (proper) business - Afterdark Enterprises Ltd. It was a promotions and events business. I operated several club nights, as well as running a marketing distribution business that employed 30 people. I had business partners, contracts, employees and responsibility - it was a true education in business.
