About us

The British Business Bank is the UK’s economic development bank. Established in 2014, our mission is to drive sustainable growth and prosperity across the UK, and to enable the transition to a net zero economy, by improving access to finance for smaller businesses. We work with more than 200 partners to deliver funding programmes that address gaps in the small business finance market. This page will showcase inspiring smaller businesses, information about our delivery partners, events we'll be attending as well as information about our Midlands Engine Investment Fund II launching in 2024.
