Help to Grow - Digital Transformation Today’s Help to Grow: Management Course dove into Digital Transformation - and yes, AI was a hot topic! It’s amazing to see so many small business leaders exploring how technology can really transform the way they operate. Even though today’s module was online, we wanted to share a photo from our on-campus onboarding session a few weeks ago - such a great reminder of the energy, curiosity, and collaboration that this programme sparks. Love seeing participants connect, share experiences, and think boldly about the future of their businesses. #HelpToGrow #SME #DigitalTransformation #AI #Innovation #BusinessGrowth

Laura Farkas first experienced the impact of Lancaster University Management School's (LUMS) Small Business Leadership Programme (SBLP), which helped her clarify her business mission and strengthen her brand. She has now returned as a mentor on the Help to Grow: Management Course, sharing the knowledge and insights she gained through her own business journey and her experience with LUMS. Laura credits this relationship with having a hugely positive effect on her success. Her story highlights the power of learning, growth, and giving back, turning personal experiences into guidance for other business leaders. "I'm grateful for the university, because it's been a journey. They have given me something that is still in my head today. That's the beauty of it, it stays with you, and when time is right, you can implement more and more. You can always revisit it. You can always think that now is the right time.” We’re proud to see Laura continuing to make an impact and inspire others through her expertise and dedication. “The course has had a huge influence on how I write and what I could write in the future. I am very passionate about supporting fellow midwives, whether that be in my own writing and publication or supporting other midwives to use their creative voice to tell their story.” Lisa Fitzgerald, Midwife and Lancaster University course participant Lisa joined Lancaster University Management School's Writing for Publication course to explore how her words could make a difference — for herself, her profession, and her peers. Through the course, she discovered new ways to express ideas, connect with others, and support others in sharing their stories. Our upcoming one-day online masterclass, The Power of Words: Shaping Your Distinct Writing Voice, is open to anyone who wants to discover their authentic writing voice — whether you work in healthcare, business, education, or any other field. If you’ve ever thought, “I have something valuable to say, but I don’t know how to start,” this session is for you. 🔗 Learn more: The Power of Words: Shaping Your Distinct Writing Voice (Online), Wednesday 12 November, 2:00 pm - Lancaster University (link in comment box) #Writing #ProfessionalDevelopment #CommunicationSkills #LancasterUniversity #LUMS
