About us
The Financial Literacy & Inclusion Campaign is the charity of the Financial Times. The charity seeks to address the lack or limited nature of financial literacy education where the need is most acute. We aim to give those who engage with us the building blocks of financial knowledge - both to protect and empower them. We work at the grassroots level; leading financial literacy workshops in the schools and communities that stand to benefit most. We also lobby for legislative change, campaign for better behaviour by finance companies and are building a platform of homegrown and partner content that can be leveraged globally for maximum effect. For a comprehensive overview of our strategy, our members and our work, please visit www.ftflic.com. To explore how you can work with us or make a donation, please contact us via one of our channels. We want to help people master their money.

“When I grow up, I’m going to be a business owner.” It’s something we hear from young people all the time, full of ambition, energy, and vision. But what they often don’t see is the journey: the setbacks, sacrifices, and hard-won lessons that happen behind the glossy headlines. That’s why it’s so important to give young people honest insights into what building a business (or a career) really looks like, especially when it comes to the decisions people make about money along the way. That’s exactly what we explore in our new Pocket Truths series - including this latest episode we continue our conversation with Akshay Ruparelia sharing the real experiences behind growing a business, sharing the personal moments behind the headlines, the challenges of growing a business at a young age, and the value of staying grounded when things move fast. 🎥 Watch now: https://lnkd.in/epdUP4X7 📚 And if you’re an educator or work with young people, check out our financial literacy curriculum - packed with lessons that use real-life context and experiences to help young people build confidence and understanding around money.💡 Access all our free teaching resources - including lesson plans, slides, activities and more - here: https://lnkd.in/eub-4zjg Let’s show young people the full picture - not just the highlight reel.
