📊 The State of Mobile Internet Connectivity 2025 Overview Report sets the scene for this year’s series, providing a snapshot of global mobile internet trends and introducing the key insights that are explored in the other 5 reports. Did you know? 📱 58% of the world’s population (4.7 billion people) now use mobile internet on their own device ❌ 38% (3.1 billion) remain offline despite living within coverage – the usage gap 📡 4% (300 million) are still not covered by mobile broadband – the coverage gap Closing these gaps is critical. Between 2023 and 2030, closing the usage gap could generate $3.5 trillion in additional GDP, with $1.3 trillion from closing the gender gap in mobile internet adoption in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
