Power in Unity

Our union is democracy in action. When we're divided, we are vulnerable. But together, we’re unstoppable.

By working together, we bargain strong contracts that raise wages, strengthen benefits and advance workplace health and safety.

We give workers across a wide spectrum of industries a voice on the job, and our advocacy has helped bring about some of the most important labor laws.

And we’re not done yet.

Who We Represent

We slurry and smelt, mine and manufacture. We take care of the sick, and we keep kids safe. We’re rubber workers, security guards, electricians and telecommunications specialists. We work in courthouses and forests, oil refineries and banks, universities and utility companies. From glass to paper, cement to pharmaceuticals, electric buses to food additives, we touch every corner of our society.
