Four July Events in Chester County to Add to Your Calendar
In the height of summer, July events across Chester County offer residents countless ways to celebrate the season, writes Gina Lizzo for Main Line Today.
Here are four July events across the county perfect for both outdoor celebrations and cooling off inside.
Taste Kennett Food Tour—Kennett Square. This three-hour walking food tour guides participants through must-try culinary stops in downtown Kennett Square. Stops include five restaurants, an ice cream shop, a wine pairing, and more. The tour is available for a fixed rate of $65 per person, with multiple offerings on July 6, 13, 20, and 27.
Fourth of July Celebration—Wayne. Celebrate the Fourth of July at Tredyffrin Township’s annual festival at Wilson Farm Park. The event will feature food vendors, a DJ, and fireworks set to begin at dusk.
Little Shop of Horrors—Malvern. A Broadway classic, Little Shop of Horrors will run at People’s Light from June 25 through Aug. 3. The beloved sci-fi musical offers something for audiences of all ages to conclude the 50th anniversary season at the theatre.
Jo Piazza Book Launch—Wayne. On July 23, author Jo Piazza is set to debut her new novel Everyone Is Lying to You with an event at Main Point Books. Piazza will speak with Beyond the Bookends founders Kirsten Baritz and Jackie Robins to discuss the new thriller with local readers.
