‘BeVisionary’ Breaks From Impersonal Dating Apps, Brings In-Person Events to Singles in Area

BeVisionary aims to remove the impersonal feel of dating apps and replace it with in-person parties and events for singles in Chester and other collar counties, writes Anne E. Hill for the Main Line Today.
The company was launched by Rosanna Curci in February 2023 with a singles axe-throwing event in West Chester. Around 275 people attended the first gathering, showing strong interest in in-person connection, so she decided to continue.
This year, Curci has hosted one event per month for all ages, each drawing over 100 attendees. When she shifted to age-specific events, she expected attendance to drop, but numbers remained strong, with events averaging 70 participants.
Monthly events are held in Chester, Montgomery, Delaware, and Bucks counties, with more added for New Jersey and Delaware. They are promoted through the company’s website and social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and MeetUp.
“For us, a successful event is one where most – if not all guests leave with a genuine smile, saying they had a great time and making at least one new acquaintance, whether that’s a friend or something more,” said Curci.
