🌸 Celebrating Vietnamese Women’s Day at NAB Vietnam 🌸 Today was filled with colour, creativity, and connection as we celebrated Vietnamese Women’s Day at NAB Vietnam. From striking a pose at our vibrant photobooth to crafting personalized tote bags and joining the joyful flower hunt, every activity invited us to pause, appreciate, and express ourselves - for who we are and for the women who inspire us every day. The celebration also featured an inspiring Women in Tech sharing session, spotlighting our female leaders - Ms. Usha Newland - COO, T&EO; Ms. Melissa Hunter - Executive, Transformation & Enablement; and Ms. Hanh Tran - General Director, NAB Vietnam. They shared their personal journeys and powerful perspectives on growth, inclusion, and shaping the future of women in technology. More than 300 students from University of Information Technology (UIT), FPT Univeristy, and Ho Chi Minh City University of Science (HCMUS) joined the NAB Future-Ready Talent Roadshow - ready to explore what’s next in cloud computing and the careers growing around it. Anthony Vu - Lead, Cloud Engineer at NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam (NAB Vietnam), brought the room to life with real engineering stories — showing how cloud connects innovation across industries and why the world needs more builders who think in systems. “The cloud is growing fast - and the world needs thinkers, builders, and innovators to grow with it. That journey begins with you,” Anthony stated. Pinky Huy Le – our Senior Project Analyst, a former StarCamper, now mentoring the next generations of young talents through StarCamp by NAB Tech Academy, shared a truth that hit home: ✨ “The best thing you can build isn’t code — it’s confidence. ☁️ NAB FUTURE-READY TALENT ROADSHOW: THE FUTURE OF CLOUD COMPUTING 📍 Hanoi – Where Curiosity Ignited a Movement As part of NAB’s Future-Ready Talent Program, NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam (NAB Vietnam) has launched a new initiative to connect with Vietnam’s next generation of innovators - and it started in Hanoi. The first-ever NAB Future-Ready Talent Roadshow kicked-off with high energy and even higher curiosity. Nearly 300 students from the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) and Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) showed up to explore “The Future of Cloud Computing”. They didn’t just come to listen. They came to question, challenge, and dream bigger! Thinh Le – Lead, Cloud Engineer at NAB Vietnam, shared how cloud technology is reshaping everything — from how apps run to how data move across the globe. We didn’t bring theory. We brought real-world challenges from real systems — and inspired students to start where they are. “Start small, but start now. Cloud isn’t waiting for anyone,” shared Tommy Le - a proud StarCamp graduate, alum of the Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), and now a member of NAB’s engineering team. This year’s challenge brings together students from more than 20 universities across Vietnam and Australia to explore how Generative AI meets Cybersecurity. 🚀 Humans of StarCamp: Tien Vu’s Leap from TA to QE 🚀 “Before WeCamp, I had zero tech skills. I didn’t know how to code a single line.” Tien Vu – Team member of NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam (NAB Vietnam) Quality Engineering (QE) Team, former WeCamper & StarCamper – remembers her first day at NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam (NAB Vietnam). “Eight weeks later, I could write JavaScript, understand algorithms, and even build QE automation.” Back then, Tien was working in Talent Acquisition (TA) at a tech company, surrounded by engineers and wondering if she could ever be one of them. “Talking to my colleagues, I felt like QE was for me,” she recalls. With just a basic manual QE course under her belt, she took a leap of faith - and landed in WeCamp. “It wasn’t easy. Back then, I was one of the oldest in Batch 7, and my parents weren’t fully on board. But they let me follow the path I love,” she says. That path led to her proudest moment: passing the Codility test to enter StarCamp - where another pivotal moment came when her capstone project was named best in the batch. “That test proved I could really do this.” At NAB Vietnam, Tien found more than just a career shift. She found support. “As a woman from a non-tech background, NAB Vietnam gave me a life-changing chance. The mentors and trainers were always there, guiding me every step of the way. I’m truly grateful. Even now, I can reach out anytimee, and they’ll jump on a 1:1 catch-up without hesitation.” Her story is one of courage, growth, and perseverance. “I started knowing nothing. Now, I know more than I ever imagined.” From TA to QE. From beginner to standout engineer.
