🌱 European Union delegation pay us a visit in Ben Tre 🍫 Yesterday, we had the honor of welcoming a distinguished delegation to Puratos Grand-Place Vietnam, including more than 20 high-level representatives from the EU Delegation and 13 European embassies. The delegation included Ambassadors from EU Delegation, Ireland, Lithuania, Estonia, Bulgaria, Finland, Croatia, Czechia, and Belgium; representatives from the embassies of Germany, Portugal, France, Spain, Hungary, and Poland; the Country Director and Project Manager of Helvetas, and the Director of CDC. Their presence reflects a strong shared commitment to sustainable agriculture and innovation in Vietnam’s cocoa sector. Together, we explored our joint efforts in regenerative farming, circular economy, and farmer livelihood improvement, including the transformation of cocoa husks (which make up 70–80% of the pod) into biochar, biomaterials, and animal feed. Our guests toured our fermentation center and cocoa mass production facility, where they experienced the full journey from bean to cocoa mass. They also learned about the Cacao-Trace program and how our practices go beyond industry norms, beautifully shared by our founder, Gricha Safarian. 🍫 The visit concluded with a tasting of our 60DAYS chocolate, crafted from Vietnam-origin beans and produced within just 60 days. A true taste of innovation! We’re excited about the future of cocoa in Vietnam and look forward to more initiatives that uplift our farmers and the entire value chain. 🌟 On September 5 two years ago, Bakery School Vietnam was officially inaugurated with its very first batch K23. One year later came K24, and today, we are delighted to welcome K25 - our third generation of students. 🌟 Over the past two years, we have been proud to see 100% of K23 graduates have jobs immediately after graduation, while 16 students from K24 spent their summer passionately engaged in the art of baking. 🌟 The new academic year 2025-2026 has now begun, bringing us the great joy of welcoming 32 new faces of K25 - young talents who carry within their hearts the dream of becoming skilled and passionate bakers. 🌟 With the sound of the school drum marking this new beginning, we look forward to a journey filled with growth and aspirations.
