新浪科技讯北京时间5月20日上午消息，全球最大安全软件厂商赛门铁克周四宣布，以3.9亿美元收购法律信息管理系统公司 Clearwell System。

　　赛门铁克表示，收购Clearwell有助于公司处理诉讼、调查和监管问询的文件管理，这些业务有望在2013财年为公司带来收益。这项收购将于于9月底完成。

　　赛门铁克信息管理高级副总裁迪帕克·莫汉(Deepak Mohan)表示:“随着信息以前所未有的速度增长，客户所面临的最大挑战是保护、管理以及备份信息，同时有能力对这些信息进行有效的分类处理和发掘。Clearwell处在电子数据处理市场的领先地位，收购Clearwell有助于提升赛门铁克在未来对信息、客户和时间的把握能力。”

Symantec’s acquisition of Clearwell brings together the industry’s leading eDiscovery, archiving and backup offerings to provide customers one of the most comprehensive information management solutions available.
