Introduction
============

Cendio are proud to present ThinLinc X.Y.Z, with more than FIXME
enhancements and fixes. The most prominent changes are:

* FIXME

ThinLinc works on most modern Linux distributions and is supported on
any platform that fulfills our documented requirements.

Server
------

* Added a password confirmation step when setting a password for Web
  Administration during the server setup. (5944)

* Fixed an issue where the server setup failed on Debian/Ubuntu systems
  using `ufw` as firewall. (8759)

Native client
-------------

* The ThinLinc client for macOS now requires macOS Ventura (version 13)
  or newer. The ThinLinc server remains backwards compatible with older
  clients, for those users who cannot upgrade in the near future.

* Windows 11 no longer shows a warning about unknown publisher when
  installing the ThinLinc client. (8483)

* Each page in the Web Administration Interface now has a "?" button
  that links to the relevant section in the ThinLinc Administrators

Configuration changes
=====================

New
---

* New configuration folder: `/somewhere/folder/`. Holds settings
  relating to something.
* New parameter: `/somewhere/parameter`. Controls whether tool foo
  does operation bar.

Modified
--------

* The `/example/parameter` parameter no longer accepts an empty
  string as a valid value.
* The `/example/folder/` configuration folder has been renamed to
  `/example/renamed/`.

Removed
-------

* The configuration folder `/example/folder/` and all parameters
  within has been removed.
* The configuration file `/somewhere/foo.hconf` and all parameters
  within has been removed.
