Tomb Of The Pharaoh

One of a series of history plays for 7-11 year old children. This play has a cast of 13 or more characters, so is ideally suited for a class project, but can also be enjoyed by smaller groups or individuals using puppets or toy theatre characters. Also included are making instructions to enable a group, or an individual, to create the headdress of Tutankhamun and 4 canopic jars in which the pharaoh's internal organs were stored. The story is of the mummification of the pharaoh, then his interrment in the tomb. Then later, robbers try to remove valuable artefacts from the sacred site, and suffer the consequences
