    Limitless Nursing - T Hunt

    Intro

My name is Tiara. I have been in nursing for over 10 years now. I earned my Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nursing in 2009. I’ve worked in many aspects of nursing… I worked tele-health nurse on call for Cleveland Clinic, I worked at Long Term Care facilities, Skilled Nursing facilities, hospitals across the country… I’ve been a floor nurse, a charge nurse, a nursing supervisor, a nurse manager, an Epic Support Nursing consultant, a travel nurse, a vaccination nurse and started my own home care business. The most rewarding thing I’ve found along this journey has been sharing my experiences, things I’ve learned and helping other nurses/aspiring nurses make the most of their careers and follow the path that’s best for them. I’ve created this guide with useful content to do just that.

Last year I only worked 6 months out of the year and made six figures. How? By making the most of my career as a travel nurse. I worked when I wanted to and relaxed when I wanted to. You might be wondering why you might benefit from this guide. Well, you’ve made the decision to leave your staff position, now what? Everyone talks about how easy getting into travel nursing is. Especially with the surge during the pandemic and the crisis pay. Honestly it is very easy, but there are still things that as a new traveler you will probably have questions about and need guidance on. I was a new traveler once and felt lost in the sauce going through the process of my first assignment. I learned things along the way, and they started to become second nature for me. But I think back to how much money, time and stress I could have saved if I had a preparation guide to help me out. Time is money.

This guide will break down some major steps to help prepare you for your first assignment. We will cover readiness, finding the ideal job, the process of getting and accepting your first offer, things to know and prepare for once you accept the offer, beginning your assignment, tips for being successful in and outside of the facility, as well as several other helpful resources and strategies to make this job work for you.
