Chapter 1: The Legend of the Vampire

On a busy London street, sunlight falls on the ancient buildings, casting dappled shadows. Dylan Kennedy, a young and curious historian, is strolling through the corridors of the British Museum. He is tall and has a wise and determined look in his eyes. Born into an ordinary family of scholars, Dylan has gradually emerged in the academic world with his love and dedication to history.

Dylan stares intently at the medieval artefacts in the display case. The ancient objects seem to be telling stories from the past. His fingers gently stroke the glass, as if he could feel the pulse of history. Suddenly, his gaze is drawn to an old book. The cover of the book is yellowed and the edges are badly frayed, but the mysterious symbols on it exude an indescribable charm.

Dylan carefully picked up the ancient book and opened the yellowed pages. A sense of antiquity came over him, as if he had been transported back to that distant era. The book contained a mysterious legend about vampires, who were said to haunt the night in some corner of Europe, looking for prey. They possessed supernatural powers and were immortal, and could only be destroyed by specific methods.

Dylan's heart began to beat faster. This legend was like a mysterious mystery, attracting him to explore. He began to search for more information about vampires in the museum library. In the process, he met Ava Robertson, a beautiful and brave journalist. Ava has long blonde hair and blue eyes, and her smile is as warm as the sun. Born into a family of journalists, Ava has been curious about all kinds of mysterious events since she was a child.
