Each seated guest may travel with 50lbs/23kg of total luggage weight, inclusive of carry-on sized luggage and personal items.
Tradewind flights are pet friendly but limited by policy for safety and the comfort of all guests. Each flight may have a maximum of three (3) pets in total, with a maximum of one (1) party with up to two (2) large pets weighing 21 lbs or over each. An extra seat must be purchased for a pet or party of pets weighing over 100lbs in total.
Guests arriving with pets not booked in advance may be moved to a later flight if pet maximums are already met on the intended flight.
Scheduled flights are operated in Swiss-built Pilatus PC-12 turbine-powered aircraft flown by two pilots with air-conditioning, a pressurized cabin and plenty of room for luggage.
Scheduled flights are directly operated and flown by Tradewind. The flights are flown by Tradewind pilots and the aircraft is maintained by Tradewind maintenance crew.
Batteries are considered hazardous material.
- Passengers are limited to two lithium-ion batteries with a maximum capacity of 101-160 Watt Hours
- Passengers are not limited on the amount of batteries which they may bring with a capacity of less than 100 Watt Hours
- Damaged batteries are not allowed on the aircraft
- Spare batteries must be packed in a way to prevent short circuit
- All lithium batteries unless at a lower capacity than 2.7 Watt Hours must be the personal item accessible in flight to the passenger.
- Large battery powered devices such as eBike, eScooters, hoverboards, battery powered tools and more are prohibited.
- Lithium battery powered lighters and electronic cigarettes have additional restrictions
- These may not be charged in flight
- They must be protected against accidental use
- They must have a maximum capacity of 100 Watt Hours
- Smart Bags must have their batteries removed and placed in the passengers personal item
- Spare battery rules apply
- Use of electronic bag trackers (such as AirTags) are permitted, provided that their capacity is 2.7 Watt Hours or less
