Best platforms for integrating continuous delivery with CI

Looking at data on the continuous delivery software category page, GitLab, Jenkins, and CircleCI stand out as best platforms for teams that want to integrate continuous delivery (CD) with continuous integration (CI). These platforms help automate testing, deployment, and monitoring to streamline DevOps pipelines and improve release reliability. See below for my top software list.

  1. GitLab CI/CD – is a complete DevOps platform that unifies source control, CI, and CD. It automates builds, testing, and deployments while offering strong collaboration and monitoring tools for developers and operations teams.
  2. Jenkins – is a flexible, open-source automation server used to build custom CI/CD pipelines. It supports extensive integrations and plugins, making it ideal for teams that want full control over automation.
  3. CircleCI – is a cloud-based CI/CD solution that helps teams automate build and deployment workflows. It’s known for its speed, scalability, and ability to integrate easily with GitHub and Bitbucket.
  4. Azure DevOps – offers integrated CI/CD pipelines that support continuous testing and delivery. It’s designed for teams working across Microsoft environments or hybrid cloud infrastructures.
  5. Harness – is a next-generation CI/CD platform that uses AI and automation to streamline delivery and rollback processes. It helps DevOps teams deliver software faster while maintaining safety and compliance.
  6. TeamCity – by JetBrains, provides build automation and continuous delivery capabilities with deep customization options. It’s popular with development teams that need detailed control over pipeline configurations.
  7. Buddy – is a visually intuitive CI/CD tool with drag-and-drop pipeline creation. It’s perfect for small to mid-sized teams looking for simplicity, speed, and integration flexibility.
  8. AWS CodePipeline – automates code build, test, and release processes within AWS environments. It’s a strong choice for teams already using Amazon Web Services for infrastructure and deployments.
  9. Spinnaker – is an open-source continuous delivery platform developed by Netflix. It enables advanced deployment strategies like canary releases and blue-green deployments across multi-cloud environments.
  10. Bamboo – by Atlassian, integrates CI/CD directly into Jira and Bitbucket workflows. It helps teams connect code, build, and release stages in a single automated pipeline.

What do you think? Based on your experience, are there other CI/CD tools that integrate delivery and integration more seamlessly? I’d love to hear what the G2 community recommends.
