Hey all!
Looking for some advice. We’re a small firm trying to get better organized with case management, billing, and client communications, but budget is definitely a factor. I don’t want to pay for a massive system built for big firms when we just need something affordable and reliable.
From the G2 Grid, here are some of the top legal practice management platforms I’ve been looking at:
-
Clio Manage: High satisfaction and market presence, and very popular
-
Smokeball: Strong satisfaction scores, designed to help automate admin and billing tasks.
-
8am MyCase: Balanced features and pricing, seems like a good mid-tier option.
-
Lawmatics: More focused on client intake and CRM, which might be overkill unless that’s a priority.
-
Assembly Neos: Solid all-around option, though adoption seems smaller than the leaders.
-
Amberlo: A newer name with decent satisfaction, looks like it’s aiming at budget-conscious firms.
-
PracticePanther: Affordable and simple, though reviews say it can lack polish compared to top players.
Other names I’ve seen come up for small firms is CasePeer, and FileVine. For those of you in smaller practices, which platforms have actually been affordable without cutting too many corners?
