ReactJS Evergreen Menu Component

React Evergreen is a popular front-end library with a set of React components for building beautiful products as this library is flexible, sensible defaults, and User friendly. Menu Component allows the user to show a list of actions that the user can take. We can use the following approach in ReactJS to use the Evergreen Menu Component.
Menu Props:
- children: It is used to denote the children of the menu component.
MenuDivider Props: This does not take any props.
MenuGroup Props:
- title: It is used to denote the title of the menu group.
- children: It is used to denote the children of the menu group.
MenuItem Props:
- is: It is used to denote the element type to use for the menu item.
- className: It is used to pass the class name to the component.
- onSelect: It is a function that is triggered on the click and enter/space keypress.
- icon: It is used to define the custom icon or the Evergreen icon before the label.
- children: It is used to denote the children of the component.
- secondaryText: It is used to denote the secondary text shown on the right.
- appearance: The default theme supports only one default appearance.
- intent: It is used to denote the intent of the Menu item.
- disabled: It is used to indicate whether the menu item is disabled or not.
MenuOption Props:
- id: It is used to denote the id attribute of the menu option.
- onSelect: It is a function that is triggered on the click and enter/space keypress.
- isSelected: It is used to denote the icon before the label.
- children: It is used to denote the children of the component.
- secondaryText: It is used to denote the secondary text shown on the right.
- appearance: The default theme supports only one default appearance.
MenuOptionGroup Props:
- title: It is used to denote the title of the menu group.
- selected: It is used to denote the current value of the option group.
- onChange: It is a callback function that is called when selection changes.
- options: It is used to denote the list of options rendered in the group.
Creating React Application And Installing Module:
Step 1: Create a React application using the following command:
npx create-react-app foldername
Step 2: After creating your project folder i.e. foldername, move to it using the following command:
cd foldername
Step 3: After creating the ReactJS application, Install the required module using the following command:
npm install evergreen-ui
Project Structure: It will look like the following.
Project StructureExample: Now write down the following code in the App.js file. Here, App is our default component where we have written our code.

Step to Run Application: Run the application using the following command from the root directory of the project:
npm start
Output: Now open your browser and go to http://localhost:3000/, you will see the following output:
