Unified benchmarks shall come with the common processes as PPI/KPI. Even when the procedures (how to do it) differ, they shall be alligned with process (what to do). By doing so, the benchmarks might be created differently but they keep the same at the end. Critical is the proper process and procedure adherance. Anything else is ending in "just another initiative".

To establish unified quality benchmarks across different units, start by creating a shared vision—quality isn’t just a department goal; it’s an organization-wide standard. Facilitate cross-functional discussions to align expectations, ensuring every unit understands how their role impacts the big picture. Use data-driven insights to define clear, measurable benchmarks that work for all teams. Encourage collaboration through joint training, knowledge-sharing sessions, & standardized reporting tools. Most importantly, foster a culture of accountability & teamwork, where quality is a collective responsibility, not just a checklist. A well-aligned organization produces consistently high-quality results.
