For the business I serve, I have seen a growing rise of live streaming, podcasts, AI based graphics with slight motion or AI driven videos are working quite nicely. Even nowadays, Instagram and Youtube also support more AI driven stuff for social media.

Anecdotally, I've seen a rise in brands I work with using LinkedIn Live more in the last 6 months with some great results. Pick an engaging topic and subject experts and you can see it as an extension or replacement of webinar campaigns. It's a great way to capture people in the platform easily and seems to be something LinkedIn is favouring in the algorithm.

Most social platforms let you live stream. Live streaming lets you connect with your audience a whole lot deeper than mere posts. You can go live on TikTok, Discord, Facebook, Instagram, even LinkedIn. When you do go live be sure to provide some sort of benefit to your viewers.

I would use and expand AR to include Mixed Reality, since much of the push has been coming from TikTok, Snapchat, and Meta where filters/Lenses (depending on the platform) have been working to drive more activity. There’s so much risk and bureaucracy that businesses aren’t embracing creativity and falling flat in most of their social media posts. It’s the classic cost/benefit analysis.
