Yes, a top notch product can be turned out. But the client must understand, all chips (theirs) must be on the table. Don’t wait until the 2nd or 3rd edit to have major reshoots. By watching dailies will help everyone involved understand if the project is on pace or not. Also, for the client don’t go with the lowest bidder to cut costs. Many times in cutting production costs will cost the project in the end. Open lines of communication will be key.

While it may be possible to achieve top notch quality in the time frame, it would definitely raise the price. The customer would have to agree to limited amount of Re-edits and accept that speed does not allow for the job to be done in the proper amount of time. It would also depend on what customers are in front of him. I have come to realize that a lot of customers will scream that they need something done in a hurry, just to jump the line. If it's a situation where it is like this every time I do work for said customer, we might have to have a conversation about setting expectations. If it is a situation where they are in a bind, I would do my best to help them out. It really depends on the customer and the situation
