If it's constant conflicts - change the team. The problem is the team. A good team can collaborate using carrier pigeons. For real.

Clear roles, open chats, and mutual respect. Regular check-ins, async updates, and a bit of humor can turn conflict into collaboration. 🤝✨

Open communication, transparency, and active listening are key. Create safe spaces for dialogue, clarify expectations, and address issues directly while fostering empathy. These foundations strengthen collaboration and help prevent future misunderstandings. When team members feel heard and valued, conflicts often resolve naturally.

Remote work requires strong coordination, and the better the team dynamics, the more productive and creative the process becomes. But if a conflict does arise, I follow one rule: address it privately rather than turning the group chat into a battlefield. The key is not to assign blame but to understand what went wrong, discuss the situation, and find a compromise. That’s the only way to keep the team united and the work efficient.

I find when you ask people their roles or what they are responsible for -it is usually different than what the team thinks the person is responsible for. Clearly defining these roles, but also having the team do it verbally is always best. Then it becomes clear where the responsibility lies. If it's unclear it's up to me the manager to define it, or make a decision.

Maintain privacy of employees, and have open communication one on one. Try to keep the conversation recorded either in voice or email, with consent. Lastly, don’t take things personally ✨

Seamless Team Communication: It Matters Instant, frictionless communication is key, especially in distributed teams. Imagine a teammate hitting a roadblock. They need to reach out now - no hesitation. This accessibility is crucial for quick problem-solving. How to Enable It: - Clear Channels: Define where to discuss what (e.g., chat, project tools, video calls). - Openness: Encourage transparent dialogue and help-seeking. - Expectations: Set clear response time guidelines. - Iterate: Always evaluate and improve. Streamlined communication empowers teams, boosts productivity, and drives success. #communication #teamwork #IT #leadership #remote

I always try to identify the root cause of conflicts through open discussions... The role should be perfectly defined it helps prevent misunderstandings. When needed, I step in as a neutral mediator to ensure resolutions are constructive and keep everyone aligned with the bigger picture.

The results we get from this experience is that 100% remote or presential is not the answer. Either have its own benefits therefore we must take the best advantages of both. Hybrid is the best scenario.
