The first step is to understand why they are struggling to implement the new procedure. The problem could be the procedure itself. It may be not well written and doesn't reflect the real work done on the shop floor.

First, provide clear training and conduct hands-on sessions and workshops to familiarize the team with the new methods. Start with a pilot phase to test the processes on a small scale. Provide regular feedback to align the team with expectations. Optimize the methods based on team feedback to improve efficiency.

To ensure your team successfully adopts new QA procedures, start by explaining their purpose—like improving product quality or meeting regulations. Break the procedures into simple steps and provide clear documentation. Train your team with real-life examples to build confidence. Set up regular checks to address questions and provide support. For example, when establishing a system for Quality Compliance alerts across all sites, introduce a tool like email or a shared platform to send alerts instantly. Train teams to use it, test it with a few alerts, and gather feedback for improvement. Celebrate small milestones, like all sites responding to an alert on time, to encourage continued success.

Transitioning to new procedures can be facilitated with good planning and team involvement. I usually initiate this process with a pilot phase, testing the procedures with a small team to identify potential challenges. By involving the team early, gathering their views and suggestions, I gain their support. In addition to documentation, I use flowcharts or practical examples to make the procedures more understandable. During the transition, I hold regular feedback meetings to monitor progress and promptly address team questions. Furthermore, celebrating small successes during the transition boosts motivation.

Change in the team's ways of working can create chaos and develops resistance. Regulated Industries like Life sciences, avionics etc would need a Quality oversight for the merit of being consistent as per QMS. The roller coaster of new QA procedures can be ironed by following - identify the QA procedures - training the resources - implement the pilot - monitor the processes until achieving new ways of working. QA procedures when accounting to the team's ways of working would be adopted with ease.

To implement the MOC or management of change regarding QA procedures, the best tool is proper training and ensuring everyone is clear about expectations of the new system. Sign off all steps is a must to ensure accountability and further disciplinary actions.

The standards and regulations created and updated have always contributed to the development and improvement of products and services to better meet the needs and expectations of Customers. However, in most companies, there are lengthy procedures and some of them are even confusing or not complete and end up not being followed or misinterpreted. A classic recommendation for more user-friendly and effective procedures is to reduce text and use more flowcharts and decision trees. Furthermore, to greatly facilitate the Journey of Operational Excellence, companies could evolve in the use of more robust and more preventive controls, such as: Poka Yoke, Control Plan, Standardized Work, Timeline, Visibility/Sequencing Panel.

To ensure the successful execution of new quality assurance procedures, I would start by providing hands-on training to familiarize the team with the changes and highlight their benefits. Engaging the team in decision-making and seeking their feedback would encourage ownership and reduce resistance. A small-scale pilot implementation would help identify & address potential issues before a full-scale rollout. Clear, user-friendly documentation outlining the procedures and their purpose would ensure consistency. During the transition, I would assign quality champions to guide the team & monitor compliance. Finally, regular reviews of performance metrics and team feedback would allow for continuous improvement & refinement of the procedures.
