  • As part of our Impact Partner Gratitude Series, we are proud to recognize The White Feather Foundation. Their early commitment is helping to launch 4ocean Foundation’s critical response work in Bali - expanding cleanup days on the water during the rainy season, rescuing more marine life, and intercepting plastic before it breaks down into harmful microplastics. With the rainy season beginning November 1, we are more prepared than ever to tackle its inevitable impacts. A special thank you to Julian Lennon and the White Feather community for turning belief into year-round ocean action. “I've followed the work of 4ocean for a long time now, and admired their ability to take ocean protection to a whole new level. Ocean health is a cause very near and dear to my heart, it’s as important a concern as any other environmental issue, if not more... So I couldn't be happier that our Foundations are uniting for this new partnership." • In just a few hours, local crews recovered 1,900 pounds of trash from a single canal in Sawah Gede, Jembrana.  When rains pushed waste past the river boom, it threatened to clog irrigation canals that feed local rice fields. Without action, that plastic would have flooded farmland, choked waterways, and flowed straight into the ocean. So, crews stepped in: 🌾 Clearing canals that sustain farmers’ crops 🌊 Stopping trash before it reaches the Ijo Gading River 🐟 Preventing plastic from shredding into harmful microplastics By the end, the canal was flowing freely again, safer for the land, the people, and the ecosystems it supports. Approximately 80% of ocean plastic originates from land-based waste, so restoring rivers and canals helps protect the sea. Be part of the solution. • Meet the Dugong Once a classic Balinese fishing boat, the Dugong has been transformed into a purpose-built ocean cleanup vessel - a living symbol of how tradition and innovation can come together to fight plastic pollution. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Dugong joined the Bali fleet earlier this year and immediately expanded our capacity to respond to the Ocean plastic crisis. In just the first three months of operation, it enabled crews to remove over 200,000 more pounds of plastic and trash from the open sea - a 5x increase. The Dugong is one critical example of how philanthropy fuels mission expansion. With this vessel, we can stay prepared for the floods of waste that the rainy season brings each year. • A mangrove cleanup on Menjangan Island turned into a powerful reminder. Local crews pulled over 4,300 pounds of plastic from tangled roots and met Jugly, a wild deer trapped in a habitat littered with waste 🦌 Plastic pollution isn’t just an ocean problem. It threatens forests, coastlines, and every creature that depends on them. Help us continue to protect ecosystems like this. • They believed early, and together, we moved faster. We are proud to launch our Impact Partner Gratitude Series by featuring 4ocean PBC, Mavrik, and Pacific American Group - three transformative, changemaking organizations whose early belief accelerated our critical mission in Bali. Thanks to their founding support, 4ocean Foundation has removed an additional 1.5 million+ pounds of trash from our ocean, rivers, and coastlines since the start of 2025 alone. From catalytic philanthropy to accelerating matching gifts, their commitment has not only fueled more crews but has also transformed the speed and scope of our ability to fight plastic pollution, while strengthening our capacity to build for the future. Thank you to our founding impact partners for standing with us from the start and propelling this mission forward for the ocean we all share. 👉 Be part of the movement. • When the rains return, so does the flood of plastic. Your support powers the critical response. Each year from November through March, Indonesia’s monsoon season washes staggering amounts of plastic waste from land into rivers and out to sea. For communities in Bali, this is not just a season of rain but a season of relentless plastic pollution. To meet this challenge head-on, 4ocean Foundation:  🌊 Funds daily cleanups - onshore, offshore, and at key river interception points - reinforcing booms to stop waste at the source  ⚓ Works with our local partners to train and equip local crews - staging gear, preparing vessels, and staying mission-ready for rapid response  🐟 Prevents plastic from becoming destructive microplastic - intercepting debris before it breaks down into smaller, more harmful fragments Your support ensures our teams are ready in Bali 365 days a year - not only when the floods arrive. Together, we can continue to protect the Ocean no matter where the currents flow. Help us double our impact this season. Donate today at https://lnkd.in/gukwGyHS to keep these crews prepared and on the water. 4ocean Foundation is the nonprofit arm of 4ocean PBC, powered by philanthropy to accelerate the fight against plastic pollution. • We’ve officially surpassed 1.5 million pounds of plastic removed - and it’s all thanks to you. Every pound pulled, every beach restored, every ripple of change began with your support. Your generosity keeps local crews on the water every single day, transforming passion into measurable progress for the Ocean. 🌎 Donations are 100% tax-deductible in the US and select countries 🌎 Directly fund cleanup operations 🌎 Restore ecosystems and protect marine life The Ocean can’t fight back, but together, we can 💪 Donate today at https://lnkd.in/gnrSiBge and keep the movement growing. 4ocean Foundation is the nonprofit arm of @4oceanPBC, powered by philanthropy to accelerate the fight against plastic pollution. • Sometimes, cleanup looks like a rescue 🐾 During river interception ops at Kaliakah Dam in Bali, our crews pulled nearly 185 pounds of trash in a single day and discovered kittens trapped in debris. Thanks to trained eyes and caring hands, they were brought to safety. Since 80% of ocean plastic comes from land-based sources and rivers, stopping it here is one of the most effective ways to protect our Ocean. Plastic pollution doesn’t just harm marine life. It threatens communities, farmland, and even the animals who live alongside us. That’s why year-round cleanups matter: they protect life on land and sea. Your donation keeps crews on the ground, ready for moments like this 💙  Give today and help expand this life-saving work at https://lnkd.in/gnrSiBge  #4oceanFoundation #OceanCleanup #ProtectTheOcean #EndPlasticPollution

  • From plastic waste to a message of resilience. In Bali, crew members Wiradana and Putu Adi transformed plastic debris into a handcrafted kite - carrying the spirit of a community determined to rise above the plastic crisis. When that kite took flight, it became a symbol of what your support makes possible. Because every donation goes beyond removing plastic from the Ocean - it invests in the frontline crews and local rights holders whose creativity, strength, and determination drive this work forward every single day. This is the true power of philanthropy: fueling people, uplifting communities, and turning what once polluted our shores into symbols of hope that soar far beyond them. Thank you for following along on this journey with us. #CrewFeature #4oceanCrew #TrashToMessage #OceanHope #PlasticToPurpose

  • Currents don’t wait, and neither do we 🌊 Every tide and current has the power to carry plastic farther, spreading the crisis across our Ocean. That’s why the Bali crews act fast to intercept debris before it drifts away, breaking down into microplastics and threatening more marine life and ocean health. Because of your giving, we’re able to: 🌍 Expand cleanup operations in these critical current zones ⚓ Mobilize rapid response crews during rainy season surges 🐟 Protect more vulnerable species and ecosystems before it’s too late Your support powers these crews to meet the crisis where it flows - every single day.
