We’re thrilled to share that AAA Washington has been named one of Puget Sound Business Journal's 2025 Best Workplaces! This recognition is especially meaningful because it’s based on what our employees say about working here—our culture, our values, and the work we do together every day. At AAA Washington, we’ve always believed that when you take care of your people, they’re even better equipped to take care of others. And that’s what we do best: serve nearly 1.2 million members across Washington and northern Idaho with trusted services and expert advice, whether it’s on the road, at home, or beyond. From launching new digital tools to deepening community partnerships to celebrating each other’s wins, this past year has been full of momentum. And we’re just getting started. Thank you to our incredible employees for making this such a great place to work. And thank you to our members for giving us the purpose and drive to keep improving. Let’s keep building something great together. #BestWorkplaces #AAA #CompanyCulture #MemberExperience #PSBJ

Proud moment: AAA Washington President & CEO Heather Snavely has been named one of Puget Sound Business Journal’s Most Admired CEOs. This honor recognizes Heather’s vision and leadership – along with the work of every AAA Washington employee committed to serving our members, strengthening our culture, and supporting our communities. As Heather put it, “It takes nearly 600 people showing up every day to reimagine what it means to be a AAA Washington member.” That spirit shows up in our momentum this year, from record new members to new partnerships and being named a Best Place to Work in Washington. Congratulations, Heather, and thank you to our team!

As part of our 2024 brand relaunch, AAA Washington collaborated on a playful TV spot with a PNW legend: Auburn, Washington’s own Sir Mix-A-Lot. It was such a hit, we’ve partnered again with Sir Mix on an all-new spot: “Hooptie.” Referencing his 1989 hit, the TV spot assures our members that no matter what they drive – even a broke-down hooptie – we’ll be there for them with totally trusted roadside assistance.

On July 6, five outstanding AAA School Safety Patrollers from three Spokane schools traded in the crosswalk for the ballpark as they took part in a special Kids Day event with the Spokane Indians Baseball Club. As part of this unique opportunity, the patrollers shadowed the Spokane Indians’ security staff, learning firsthand what it takes to keep fans safe and organized on game day. From managing foot traffic to greeting guests, these students brought the same leadership and responsibility they show at school to the stadium. Each participant was treated to exclusive swag from both the AAA School Safety Patrol and the Spokane Indians, followed by a well-deserved afternoon of fun. AAA Washington hosted the patrollers and their families for a sunny day at the ballpark, celebrating their commitment to safety and teamwork. Way to go, patrollers! Thanks for stepping up and showing the community what AAA School Safety Patrol leadership looks like in action!

The Seattle Times took a drive down memory lane and featured our long history in Washington! From some of our first street signs used to help early drivers navigate the roads, to serving millions of members across the state today, it’s been an incredible journey. A huge thank you to Seattle Now and Then, The Seattle Times and writer Clay Eals for shining a light on this unique part of our story. We’re proud of our roots and excited for the road ahead. AAA Washington reposted this
Gallup says that employee engagement fell two points in 2024. At AAA Washington, our Gallup engagement poll is on a steady trend of beating benchmarks and ticking up. That may be why we continue to be recognized as one of Washington state’s Best Workplaces by Puget Sound Business Journal. This will be our third year on the list, which is voted entirely by employees. As our CFO Carrie Wilson says every Town Hall, “people are our biggest asset and greatest investment” — which makes this recognition all the more meaningful. Our goal isn’t just to be an employer of choice, but to create a culture where our employees can thrive, feel they belong and cultivate their talents as they serve our 1.2 million members. It’s something I think about daily and a bar I’m determined to raise ever higher. Thanks to every AAA Washington employee who completed the survey and placed us among this esteemed group of companies. #bestplacetowork #bestworkplaces #washingtonstate #seattle #bellevue #spokane #vancouverwa #aaa #culture #employeeengagement

This Earth Day, we’re stepping outside and giving back. 🌱🌎 We recently spent the day volunteering with Mountains to Sound Greenway at their native plant nursery, where we rolled up our sleeves and made a difference. From weeding the irrigation system to repotting and clearing weeds from 105 plants, it was a hands-on reminder of how small actions can help grow a greener future. Turn off your phone, go outside, and find your Washington state of mind. #EarthDay #VolunteerDay

Looking back to our Annual Meeting earlier this week, it was a powerful reminder of how far we've come and the exciting road ahead. We celebrated our incredible employees, reflected on the impact we’ve made together, and gained inspiration from community leaders. Our CEO, Heather Snavely, shared a vision for the future, and we watched moving stories that reinforced why we do what we do. With fresh energy and a renewed sense of purpose, we’re ready to take on what’s next. Here’s to another year of making a difference! ✈️🚗🏡
