Chris McMillin has accepted a newly created role with AIT as vice president, project and integration management office. In his new position, he will provide broad mergers and acquisitions (M&A) support for both upcoming and completed deals. Additionally, Chris will oversee other critical integration and project management activities across the organization. He previously served with the company’s information technology department for more than 17 years, most recently as vice president, global business systems. Chris will leverage his extensive background in his new role by introducing emerging technology into the M&A process, like generative artificial intelligence and synergy validation. In close collaboration with stakeholders, his near-term efforts will focus on building the project and integration management teams. These new groups will deliver smoother execution across the entire acquisition lifecycle for companies that are purchased by and ultimately integrated with AIT. Chris is already working to identify high-value opportunities for improvement. He and his team will soon begin implementing enhancements to the organization’s diligence process and integration readiness, providing greater scalability for future acquisitions. He works at AIT’s global headquarters in Itasca, Illinois, and now reports to the company’s Chief Strategy Officer, Greg Weigel.
