This week, Albemarle County’s Economic Development Authority was delighted to host @The City of Charlottesville's Economic Development Authority for a productive joint meeting focused on advancing key initiatives to strengthen our regional economy.   Helen Cauthen and Katie Dulaney, PhD of the Central Virginia Partnership for Economic Development provided an update on the “Innovation Corridor” and regional talent strategies.   Chris Engel, City of Charlottesville Office of Economic Development Director, and Emily Kilroy, Albemarle County’s Director of Economic Development, shared each locality’s strategic plans and Directors held collaborative discussions on aligning priorities and translating strategy into action.   We’re grateful to all who contributed their insights and expertise.
