The findings in AMRC’s new whitepaper validate many of the trends we’re experiencing at Alcanza. As a purpose-built site network with deep community roots and a focus on inclusive access, we see how coordinated infrastructure and consistent operations can meaningfully improve trial delivery — especially for underrepresented populations. Yet too often, these strengths are undervalued in traditional definitions of research quality. We’re encouraged to see AMRC leading a broader industry conversation to define quality in ways that reflect how trials are actually delivered today. The consultation is open through 3 December. We encourage sponsors, CROs, and site stakeholders to contribute: https://lnkd.in/ekWPMxXS #clinicalresearch #AMRC #multisite #MCRC
In clinical research, speed is easy to measure — quality isn’t. And that gap is shaping how site models are perceived. New research from the Association of Multisite Research Corporations (AMRC) reveals that while Multisite Clinical Research Corporations (MCRCs) deliver faster start-up, stronger consistency, and higher staff retention than other site types, they’re still often overlooked in favour of academic centres based on legacy perceptions of “quality.” 📊 Across 23 operational areas, MCRCs ranked almost equal to AMCs for performance, yet were rarely rated “excellent” for quality overall. MCRCs also have more stable workforces and higher principal investigator retention. 📖 To bridge this perception gap, AMRC has launched its first whitepaper, "The Network Advantage: Making the Case for Consolidation and Consistency in Clinical Trials", and industry-wide consultation, "Defining and Demonstrating Quality in MCRCs" (open 15 Oct – 3 Dec 2025). We’re inviting Sponsors, CROs, sites, memebrs, non-members, regulators and industry stakeholders to help define what quality should mean in modern clinical research. 🗣️ Read the whitepaper and contribute to the consultation: https://lnkd.in/ekWPMxXS #ClinicalTrials #ResearchQuality #MCRC #ClinicalResearch #CRO #Pharma #AMRC #Sponsors #MultisiteClinicalResearchCorporations #SiteNetworks
