Honored to speak at the inaugural SEIA Sustainability Conference on how data and technology are reshaping circularity in the solar industry. Circularity is knowing when and how to make changes, and this need for circularity is making data itself no longer just a performance metric, but a strategic asset. At Altus, our team has built systems like Spotlight, Binder, and Vault to centralize insights across hundreds of projects; while Altus IQ uses AI to deliver insights and actionable recommendations that help customers save money and meet sustainability goals. We’re also emphasizing proactive maintenance to delay end-of-life decisions and ensure every sustainability move is grounded in performance, cost, regulation and environmental impact. The engagement was...electric: “Thank you for doing this, for helping get the data cleaned and accessible. Every one of us has this problem. Every one of us needs this product.” “Wait, how did you do it? How do you get the data into Vault? Is it people or tech?” The room was buzzing - lots of nods, lots of shared pain points. It’s clear that clean, accessible data is the missing link for many in this industry. Grateful to be part of a company that’s making circularity scalable, customer-focused and environmentally responsible. Let’s keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.
