Thanks to a generous shipment from International Health Partners (IHP), we were able to distribute 31,000 medical treatments throughout refugee communities in Jordan, including Palestinian and Syrian. These kinds of donations are essential as refugees face unique barriers when it comes to basic healthcare access. Thank you, IHP! International Health Partners PQMD

Nearly half of Jordan’s population lives with diabetes. At one of our partner centers, 70% of patients showed dangerously high glucose levels, putting them at risk of serious complications. Thanks to Anera and Direct Relief, a new diabetes and endocrinology unit now offers vital care and free insulin to those who need it most. PQMD

After two years of destruction and continued displacement, Gazans have begun making their way home, including thousands moving up north. Many are traveling by foot along damaged paths, carrying little to no personal belongings. On-the-ground organizations are making plans to scale up aid so they can respond to the mass devastation. Anera stands ready to deliver. Please check back here or on our Gaza response log for ongoing updates: https://lnkd.in/guCR7q75

Anera reposted this
Anera welcomes the announcement of a ceasefire agreement that includes a path forward for Palestinians in Gaza who have faced overwhelming suffering over the past two years. We remain cautiously optimistic that this agreement will be respected and fully implemented by all parties. Under this plan, aid is expected to begin entering Gaza in large volumes through five crossings and Anera stands ready to deliver that assistance throughout Gaza to those in dire need. The international community must ensure that this ceasefire holds and that humanitarian aid flows unfettered so families can begin to rebuild their lives in Gaza. We will be watching actions, not just words.
