AMJET AVIATION started this Citation CJ4 aircraft acquisition project with some very high expectations. "Absolutely everyone involved exceeded our expectations, something we do not see very often."
We assembled our most reliable European connections, who in turn introduced other equally reliable aviation professionals required to complete this purchase and sale.
The closing phase of this transatlantic transaction was the smoothest and most efficient in which we have ever participated. It was only four business days from the initiation of the de-registration of Citation CJ4, 2-THCL, with closing taking place in the United Kingdom, until the FAA re-registration as N753RB and delivery to the United States.
Our first thank you is to our client, who has been a very special friend of our family for more than forty years. We look forward to seeing this low-time CJ4 sitting in your beautiful hangar with new paint by Duncan Aviation.
Thank you, Tobi Mathews, Lateral 4T Limited, for your legal and operational aviation knowledge, which was self-evident throughout this purchase and sale. We have successfully worked together with Tobi on some of the most complex transatlantic transactions over the past twenty years. We appreciate your professionalism and friendship.
We want to acknowledge and thank Kelli Schmidt and Joan Roberts at Insured Aircraft Title Service, LLC. Their high-performing IATS team performed all the steps required to prepare and execute this transaction flawlessly. Thanks, Joan, for your many years of support and friendship with our family.
Also, we would like to acknowledge Alan Cunningham and John Hogg at Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, who represented the Seller. Their professional approach to our transaction was nothing short of impressive. It resulted in a Buyer who is very satisfied with his decision to purchase their client's airplane.
It was a pleasure to collaborate once again with our longtime friend Robin Thurston Jones and the Thurston Aviation Limited Technical Team. Your team provided excellent technical support along with Liam Carey and the Signature TECHNICAir Bournemouth Technical Team, who performed the pre-purchase inspection, Windshield Service Bulletin, and the post-closing support.
Kornelius Lüling at Ascend Aviation Group GmbH provided the required DAR services for a smooth transition to the FAA Registry with a new Certificate of Airworthiness. We look forward to working with you whenever possible.
Thank you, Neil Plumb, who departed Bournemouth for Provo, UT, immediately after Kornelius issued the FAA Certificate of Airworthiness. Neil demonstrated responsiveness and efficiency as a professional pilot. Thanks, Tobi, for the introduction; we will use Neil in the future whenever possible.
Thank you to Cody Honeyman for the responsive communications and assistance from Textron Aviation. We look forward to future transactions.
