At the October meeting, our State Board of Education recognized Bryant High School students Marian Budu and Kennedy Torres for receiving Air Force Flight Academy Scholarships and their private pilot licenses. They both received flight training over the summer, making them some of the youngest pilots in the nation. To open the meeting, eight members of the Bryant High School choir sang the national anthem while Little Rock student Brooklyn Malvrin signed the song using American Sign Language. Their performances made their teachers and schools proud!
