Calling all counter-UAS manufacturers. 10 days left to apply! The Army is seeking ready-to-deploy (TRL level 6+) counter-UAS solutions to defend against the growing threats posed by low-cost rapidly deployable Group 1-3 UASs used in contested environments. Solutions should detect, identify, track, and neutralize aerial threats using integrated sensor systems—radar, radio frequency, vision, and acoustic—capable of distinguishing between friendly and hostile UAS -> Finalists will be invited to a live experimentation event to engage with Army, DOD, and NATO end-users -> $2.5M total prize pool for breakthrough technologies -> Up to five winners receive $350,000 each and may qualify for follow-on contracts Submissions to this xTechCounter Strike challenge close September 12th. U.S. Army SBIR|STTR Program U.S. Army xTech Program
🚨 The threat is airborne—and the Army is calling on innovators to intercept it. The xTech Program, in partnership with U.S. Army Europe and Africa and the Global Tactical Edge Acquisition Directorate, announces its latest competition, xTechCounter Strike. This challenge offers a $2.5M total prize pool for breakthrough technologies that can detect, defeat, and outmaneuver small unmanned aircraft systems. The Army faces growing threats from low-cost, rapidly deployable sUAS used for surveillance, disruption, and kinetic effects in contested environments. To counter this, it seeks mature (TRL 6+), ready-to-deploy C-UAS technologies that enhance force protection and situational awareness. Solutions should detect, identify, track, and neutralize aerial threats using integrated sensor systems—radar, radio frequency, vision, and acoustic—capable of distinguishing between friendly and hostile UAS. Up to 15 finalists will receive $50,000 each and will be invited to a live experimentation event in November, where they’ll engage directly with end-users, as well as U.S. Army, DOD, and NATO experts. Following the event, up to five winners will earn an additional $350,000 each and may qualify for follow-on contracts. ⚠️ The white paper submission window is only open for ten days—act fast. Ready to take aim at the future? Submit your solution by September 12 and help the Army counter the next generation of aerial threats. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/ewWkkBSr #CounterUAS #DroneTechnology #ArmyInnovation

"As the Army seeks to transition, the voice of the Warfighter has never been more important," said Dr. Perley, AAL Executive Director, during a Fed Supernova panel alongside AFWERX , NavalX, and the Marine Innovation Unit. Speaking to a diverse audience of technologists and innovators, Dr. Perley emphasized that many questions innovators may have are technical and often specific. She dedicated time after her speaking engagement to meet one-on-one with over 20 companies. AAL’s mission is to connect with the best non-traditional industry solvers and we take that mission seriously. ________________ Army Futures Command #FedSupernova #Innovation #DefenseTechnology
