Because of support from the American Cancer Society - Pacific Northwest, more patients at Asante Cancer Services can get to treatment and rest safely along the way. We’re honored to partner with the American Cancer Society through their transportation and lodging grant program. This generosity helps remove barriers to care and offers relief when it’s needed most.
The Patient Transportation and Lodging Grant program provides a chance for health systems to build a portfolio of services that meet their community's needs and deliver services to patients who need it most. We’re proud to announce that we’ve awarded $9 million in transportation and lodging grants, to help 63,000 eligible patients impacted by cancer. These funds will provide 800,000 transportation and lodging services offered through 448 health system partners.
We're thrilled to announce a major gift supporting The Family House expansion! Thank you to Three Rivers Medical Center Auxiliary for their recent $50,000 donation. These generous contributions will help us double our capacity from seven to 14 guest rooms at The Family House. This vital expansion will allow us to serve even more patients and families who need a comfortable, affordable place to stay while receiving care. In 2024 alone, The Family House was a home-away-from-home for 283 patients and families.
