Design, deploy, and operate safe, reliable and efficient Lunar landing ports to facilitate space commerce.
About us
ASTROPORT is a space construction and materials manufacturing company. Using Moon dust (regolith), we manufacture durable feedstock for in-space construction projects. We develop autonomous robotic equipment and processes, for 3D construction printing of lunar surface infrastructure, initially focused on printing bricks for lunar landing pads. ASTROPORT was founded in 2020 by Sam Ximenes, a Space Architect with 30+ years of experience in the Aerospace Industry supporting major NASA, DoD, commercial and international space programs. ASTROPORT operates as a technology venture arm of Exploration Architecture Corporation (XArc), a Space Architecture consulting design and engineering firm established in 2007.

Discover revolutionary Lunar Construction technology at #SASSYDNEY #Saturday 4 Oct 2025 at Anita B. Lawrence Centre, UNSW Kensington Register for FREE through the #IAC2025 website : https://lnkd.in/gZwNThfJ --- Hear from Sam Ximenes, Space Architect and CEO & Founder of Astroport Space Technologies – pioneering the future of lunar infrastructure with breakthrough in-situ resource utilization (ISRU) technology! Astroport is developing regolith solidification technologies that convert Moon dust into durable construction materials, enabling autonomous robotic assembly of lunar landing pads, roads, and habitats. With #NASA contracts and a confirmed spot on SpaceX's Starship Mission 1 to the Moon, Astroport is bringing lunar construction from concept to reality. Their unique furnace-printer platform performs single-step regolith melting, forming, and precise autonomous placement of #3Dprinted bricks – truly enabling humans to "live off the land" on the Moon. With operations in #Adelaide partnering with the Andy Thomas Centre for Space Resources (#ATCSR), Astroport is establishing #Australia as a global leader in space construction technology. --- The event is organised by Andy Thomas Centre for Space Resources (#ATCSR) and hosted by Arch_Manu [ARC Centre for Next-Gen Architectural Manufacturing]. --- #SpaceArchitecture #LunarConstruction #SustainableBuilding John C. ; Miles Davies ; Scott Smith ; Jane Burry

Before the first lunar watt is produced, site recognition and preparation are crucial. Regolith forms the foundation for all lunar structures. Without thorough surveying, test pits, geotechnical analysis, and scalable operational equipment, even the most advanced technologies risk failure. Can you dig it? #SpaceCivilEngineering

🚨PANEL ALERT🚨 All of the things we talk about in a future lunar economy—human habitation, mining, science, and refueling—will rely on infrastructure. Because of this, we’ll talk about infrastructure on a couple different panels at Payload’s Lunar and Mars Economy Summit next month. This panel in particular will talk about building everything from launch pads to roads and beyond off world. Thrilled to have representatives from Redwire Space, ICON, Astroport Space Technologies and Ethos Space Resources joining the panel, which will be moderated by Jack Kuhr. Lunar Fission Surface Power (FSP) starts from the ground up. Unstable regolith? Extreme temps & radiation? Dust? Precision matters. No solid foundation = no reliable power. You can find us at IAC 2025 Sydney, and let's talk... #SpaceCivilEngineering Astroport Space Technologies

His latest article (behind a paywall), is well worth the few shekels to read in the Sept issue of National Geographic about the race for a coming cislunar economy, its opportunities and perils, “…here’s what the lunar surface could become if we’re lucky. And what it might turn into if we’re not.” I'm honored to say that Astroport Space Technologies is mentioned prominently as one of the players intending to create a future cislunar economy that sustains itself. “The road to a successful lunar economy will be built on one thing: dirt.
