Many things need to be done to make civilization robust to future AI capabilities. But what are gaps where there's no one working on the thing? We have an ontology for identifying gaps, and made a to-do list of needed orgs! [links in comment] Making those orgs looks like 1. talking to potential users, stakeholders, partners, and advisors to refine what the need is and what should be done 2. Then make it very easy for someone to take on that role We welcome input, suggestions, and feedback. Let us know if you'd like to collaborate with us! Email hello@atlascomputing.org

Atlas Computing is a tech non-profit sourcing owners for neglected catastrophic potential AI risks.
About us
We identify unowned problems, map stakeholders, draft milestones, source early funders, and recruit an expert leader to take ownership. Our longer-term work has included advancing AI workflows with provable safety properties to enable a world that includes transparent human governance over AI (instead of today's monolithic language models).

Atlas Computing reposted this
🎉 A big thank you to everyone who joined us today at the talk hosted by Atlas Computing at Rogers Centre Ottawa! We were excited to present "coq-of-rust", our formal verification tool for Rust. This tool translates Rust programs into the Rocq proof assistant, allowing for scalable reasoning and refinement of Rust code. One of the key highlights was our main application: the formal specification of Revm, the Rust-based EVM interpreter for Ethereum smart contracts. 🚀 For those who couldn’t make it, don’t worry — we’ll be sharing a video of the talk online soon. Stay connected and follow us to keep learning more about formal methods, Rust, and beyond 👉 👉 #RustLang #FormalVerification #Ethereum #SmartContracts #coqofrust #Revm #AtlasComputing #RogersCentre
