What a night to remember! From number of attendees to dollars raised, #VoicesCarry 2025 was the most successful in Auberle’s history. Ward Home Staff recently attended Pennsylvania's Neglected and Delinquent Advisory Committee Symposium where they presented their workshop “You See ME But Not My EMOTIONS.” This workshop gives a realistic overview of heavy emotions that youth carry daily, offering ways to give support through love and understanding as they navigate important feelings. The presentation received a 4.5 out of 5 rating from attendees and workshop materials were implemented in a regional classroom. Auberle is about to embark on our next cohort for our EPA training class. With that, we are going to have 15 participants that will be looking for brand new careers within the environmental industry. Reach out if you would be interested in talking to some participants that will be gaining industry leading certifications such as: OSHA 40 HAZWOPER, Asbestos Abatement, Lead Renovation Repair Painting, and much more.

The Penn Hills School District Senior Class Council recently hosted a clothing drive at Auberle! Last week, Auberle’s Leadership Team welcomed Representative Summer Lee to discuss community needs and our program outcomes. Congresswoman Lee met with the current YouthBuild class which is part of Auberle’s Employment Institute. Auberle’s Employment Institute provides training and employment services that prepare workers for quality jobs in high-demand industries. Higher wages can break cycles of socio-economic distress, allowing individuals to contribute to their families, community, and the regional economy. YouthBuild takes a holistic focus with wrapround services and support, including 12 months of follow-up after graduation. Thank you to Congresswoman Lee for her visit!
