On Friday, September 5, 2025, the House of Lords will host a high-level Roundtable focused on one of the most critical topics for the future of innovation, trust, and economic growth in the UK: Blockchain Education.
Chaired by MP Baroness Manzila Uddin, and co-led by Yasmina Boubnider Kazitani MBA. from Blockchain Game Alliance, Lorna Hutchman from Penrose Partners and myself (Ava Labs, this closed-door discussion will bring together policymakers, educators, and industry leaders to explore how the UK can build a strong knowledge foundation around blockchain and web3.
Our goals for the session:
🔺 Map out the current blockchain curricula across UK universities and training institutions
🔺Create an overview of career pathways in web3, highlighting opportunities for the UK workforce
🔺Assemble a practical handbook of use cases relevant to government and MPs
This is not just a conversation—it is the beginning of a structured effort to equip decision-makers with the insights, educational frameworks, and practical knowledge needed to make informed policy and economic choices in the blockchain era.
By the end of the Roundtable, we aim to establish a foundation for collaboration between academia, industry, and government, ensuring that the UK positions itself as a leader in trusted, knowledge-driven blockchain adoption.
Looking forward to welcoming Adi Ben-Ari, Dr. Saj Khoshroo, Francesco Pierangeli, Larisa Yarovaya, Jiahua Xu, Jannah Patchay and many, many other experts. Stay tuned for updates.
