Away is a modern lifestyle brand creating thoughtful products designed to transform travel. Since our launch in February 2016, we have become one of the fastest growing consumer brands in the world. We have sold millions of travel products, grown from a team of four to over 250, expanded shipping to nearly 40 countries, opened seven stores across two countries, and launched several new products and experiences that are inspiring more people to travel the world. And we know that’s just the beginning! In just over three years, we have already been twice named one of Fast Company’s “World’s Most Innovative Companies,” one of TIME’s “50 Most Genius Companies,” one of LinkedIn's "Top Startups," and a Forbes “Next Billion Dollar Startup.” We have also raised more than $156M in total equity funding to fuel our next phase of growth.     This summer, we didn’t want to just launch a campaign—we wanted to tap into a cultural truth. Introducing “Get Away”, a campaign rooted in the collective need to disconnect and recharge, marking a strategic evolution in how we connect with travelers today. At a time when overwhelm is the norm, we’re reinforcing our belief that travel isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity. Away has always been about more than luggage, and this campaign continues that story, tapping into the emotional resonance behind travel, whether it's a long-awaited escape or a spontaneous weekend getaway. In that same spirit, we’ve made the intentional decision to hold prices steady through the summer, staying true to the customer-first approach we’ve taken from day one.     In recognition of Juneteenth yesterday, we honored a powerful moment in U.S. history and reflected on the resilience, joy, and ongoing fight for equity it represents. This year, we embraced the opportunity not just to observe the day, but to intentionally create space for Black artistry, celebration, and connection across our team and broader community. On Wednesday, Away's Black Collective ERG brought that spirit to life at our NoHo store, hosting an incredible Juneteenth event. From a powerful spoken word performance by Roya Marsh, to live luggage painting by Haenley Pierre (with proceeds benefiting Covenant House, supporting NYC youth facing homelessness), our ERG members, employees, and local community enjoyed an evening of celebration and reflection alike. Our ERGs are the heart of employee engagement at Away.
