For too long, our economic systems have prioritized short-term profit over long-term resilience, and corporate climate pledges have failed to address this structural flaw. It’s time we change the system. That’s why we’re calling on #COP30 leaders to rewire our economy. Grounded in the new B Lab Standards, we have launched a manifesto urging governments to embed stakeholder governance into law, require credible climate action, and make human rights and environmental due-diligence mandatory for all companies, everywhere.
