Every week, I spend time testing new and old AI tools. Here’s my rundown: 🌐 Fireflies.ai is my favourite meeting notetaker. 🌐 Claude.AI is my writing assistant. 🌐 Manus AI I use as one of the tools for market research. 🌐 Manus AI: software building. 🌐 I once used HeyGen to generate 1x image of me when I didn’t have content. 1 out of 10 images it generates based on my avatar is accurate. 🌐 Voiceover AI tools - in my opinion, they make natural voices sound robotic and are not yet helpful if you’re recording a voiceover and want help editing. 🌐 Vocable.ai - helps with social media content ideas. I don’t use it, but maybe it's helpful to someone reading. 🌐 Gamma- humbly, I've proclaimed it the best presentation tool out there. 🌐 Perplexity - still testing. So far, so good. 🌐 B12- very helpful for landing pages/simple websites. I use it to communicate affiliate programs. Have you tried these tools? Which tools do you find imperative for your day-to-day?

When the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI) lab released its annual AI Index this week, we Upstarts Media were curious how startups would respond. So we gathered some AI founders in NYC to meet the HAI team and get their reaction. Executive director Russell Wald told me: “I hope it’s a wake-up call” when it comes to China catching up. China is also much more optimistic about AI’s impact than the U.S. and its closest allies, including how it will impact jobs.
