AI’s next frontier isn’t cost-cutting, it’s revenue acceleration. Code can write itself and campaigns can auto-generate, but sales still stalls on bottlenecks like contracts, compliance and security reviews. Startups like Crosby are changing that. What looks like legal services is really sales enablement — reviewing contracts in minutes, speeding deal cycles, and building a proprietary data flywheel of benchmarked terms. There's no greater pain in large enterprises than migrating from one version of an enterprise system - say, ServiceNow - to the next. It's also exactly the kind of work that can be done with AI. Rahul Kayala, Anand Sainath 💯 and Eddie G. saw this in their time at MoveWorks, a BCV company which ServiceNow has acquired. So they started Echelon AI, which today is announcing its seed, led by Rak Garg, me and Bain Capital Ventures (BCV). Echelon has been incubating at BCV Labs for the past year, thanks to Rak and Saanya Ojha who met the founders early in their journey. For months, Rahul, Anand and Eddie explored a range of areas, balancing founder optimism with a clear-eyed assessment of market potential. When they hit upon AI-powered migrations and implementations, they felt instant market pull. With the help of founding engineers Swaraj Raibagi, Shaumik Mondal, and Ken Tang, they've made tremendous progress, signing several end customers and consulting firm partners. They've also shown a surprising flare for creating videos, including this one which explains what they do.
