#TeamBarge is grateful for the opportunity to tour the North Fork Peachtree Creek project in Atlanta, thanks to Ruby-Collins, Inc. Barge is proud to provide structural retaining wall design, survey, and construction phase services as part of a talented design team alongside HDR, BenchMark Management LLC, and Mott MacDonald. This project will provide essential wet weather storage capacity and protect downstream waterways from sanitary sewer overflows. It's a vital investment in Atlanta's water quality and environmental resilience. It’s great to see such an impactful project taking shape for the community. #ATLWatershed #BargeDesignSolutions

Congratulations to Columbus Water Works on receiving the Asset Lifecycle Management Award at this year's Trimble Inc. Innovate User Conference! Columbus Water Works needed to help non-GIS users adopt a GIS-based work order management system. Through close collaboration, #TeamBarge created a custom solution that bridges the gap between sophisticated GIS technology and everyday users, transforming how the utility manages its assets. We're proud to be part of this success story. Read more from Justin Graham on how the team made it happen: https://lnkd.in/ejviRkvn
A lot of thought, collaboration, effort, and care helped make this happen. This is a result of an organization putting their people and customers at the center of every decision. I’ve known how great Columbus Water Works is for a long time but it was fun to see them publicly recognized with the Trimble Asset Lifecycle Management Award for Excellence. Congrats CWW! Take a look at new drone footage of Bay County's Southport Sports Complex at 60% complete, in Southport, Florida. Barge provided design, permitting, and construction engineering for this $13.6M, 32-acre sports hub. When finished early next year, the park will feature four baseball fields, a multi-use practice field, batting cages, a walking track, a concessions area, and a roadway connecting Highway 77. This project is helping rebuild youth sports in northern Bay County following Hurricane Michael, while creating a destination for tournaments, travel teams, and the broader community for years to come. A huge thank you to our design team, along with VBA Design and Reeves & Shaw Construction, for helping bring this vision to life! #YouthSports #CommunityImpact #BargeDesignSolutions

We had an amazing morning at the South Carolina Economic Developers' Association Mid Year Meeting celebrating Barge Design Solutions 70 year anniversary and the joining together of Barge and Carlisle. We were proud sponsors of the event and I was honored to moderate a discussion with Marcel Summermatter and Jona Rowold on FDI in our state and the affect of tariffs on future economic development. Thank you Gene Resch and Tessa Monahan and the rest of the Carlisle team, for the legacy you’ve built at Carlisle and we are excited to honor that and build upon that as Barge Design Solutions !

The future of rural healthcare may hinge on smart design. Nearly half of rural hospitals in the U.S. are operating at a loss, and many communities risk losing access to essential care. While policy and funding challenges are complex, thoughtful design can play a pivotal role in keeping care local, safe, and sustainable. In our latest Q&A, Matthew Griffith, AIA, NCARB, senior vice president and director of healthcare, shares how flexible spaces, modular clinics, and resilient infrastructure can help rural hospitals not only survive, but thrive as vital community anchors. Read Matthew’s full insights below. #HealthcareDesign #RuralHealthcare #BargeDesignSolutions
