I’m pleased to share my conversation with Byron Deeter, a partner at Bessemer Venture Partners, from our Goldman Sachs Exchanges: Great Investors podcast. In this episode, we unpacked Byron’s extraordinary career and the dynamic venture capital landscape, and discussed what he calls the “technology opportunity of our lifetimes.” Byron and I delved into the most promising developments in AI and how the AI era is impacting venture capital investing. We discussed how AI is not just a technological shift but also a fundamental re-evaluation of business models leading to a dramatic acceleration in the scaling of new companies. We also spoke about the criteria Byron values most when making investments. It was an incredibly insightful discussion, touching upon the strategic shifts and opportunities that are defining this exciting era of innovation.
